A vigil has been set up for Wednesday, Sept. 3, for a former classified employee of Cerritos College who died.
Louis Gutierrez, a graveyard-lead custodian, died Sunday, Aug. 29, according to a president’s message from Linda Lacy.
The vigil is between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the Chapel of Memories in Norwalk, Calif.
Gutierrez was employed between November 2001 to March 2012.
His funeral is set for Thursday, Sept. 4, at 9 a.m. at St. John of God Church in Norwalk, Calif., as well.
