As a college student I have wondered what it means when they say that this college is “The Most Technologically Advanced College in the State.”

The reason I asked that question is because during a recent walk-in counseling session, in which I stood in line for three hours, I noticed that all the counselors had laptop computers to work with.

While waiting to be called upon, I couldn’t help but ask, “What will they think of next?”

I thought about it for a minute and realized that since the college has the title of “The Most Technologically Advanced College in the State,” that maybe the counselors themselves should be computer animated.

Why not? With class registration online, and class schedules online as well, shouldn’t counselors be computer animated as well?

In my opinion, if and only when, there are computer animated counselors, will the college be able to say that it is the most technologically advanced college in the state.
