I think that I could have been a lot stronger in my argument regarding giving for the right reasons.
I should have talked about the dangers of giving for the wrong reasons. More research into those dangers would have helped a lot.
Especially considering this time of year, the subject of giving is important and I don’t think that I did a very good job of expressing exactly why it is so important to give for the right reasons.
My argument of giving, specifically to food drives, could have been more focused on why doing it for the wrong reasons is so problematic.
As the Christmas holiday draws closer and the need for assistance grows, I realize more and more how much more could have gone into my opinion.
