We’ve all heard about Johnny Depp suing his ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation after she claimed to be a “public figure embodying domestic abuse” in an article for the Washington Post in December 2018.

Days after Heard published her story Disney chose to terminate Johnny from the sixth Pirates of the Caribbean film.

When in court Johnny had made a testimony confirming that Disney fired him days after her article was published.

Although Heard’s lawyers say otherwise – Heard’s lawyer pointed out to the court an article in which Disney confirmed replacing Johnny for the next film two months prior from Heard’s article.

However, Johnny states that he was unaware of this and that it came as no surprise to him that Disney wanted to replace him as Captain Jack Sparrow.

Johnny testified “Two years had gone by of constant worldwide talk about me being this wife beater,”

Which is why when Disney released him from his role Johnny was very understanding that they wanted to play it safe.

These allegations have costed Johnny “nothing but everything” according to him.

Johnny allegedly had more than $22 million on the table to play Jack Sparrow in the sixth film until Disney took back their offer.

We all know and love Johnny Depp for his amazing acting, so finding out that he will not be returning to the most loved film was something very heart breaking for Jack Sparrow fans.

But little did we know Fans are petitioning to have Johnny Depp return as Captain Jack Sparrow in the sixth film of Pirates of the Caribbean.

This petition is called ” Justice for Johnny Depp” and has a goal of reaching 5000,000 signatures.

In the petitions description it stated “Johnny Depp has been a phenomenal actor throughout his career. Depp was removed from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean by Walt Disney’s Company. This unfortunately is due to his ex wife Amber Heard lying and stating that Depp beat her. It has been proven that he did not hit her, but yet, that she beat on him repeatedly.”

When this petition was published, it had over 400,000 signatures and is well on its way to reach the goal and possibly even more.

But on the other hand, Not only did Depp lose his well earned role of Jack Sparrow. He has also lost the role of Gellert Grindelwald in Warner Bros. film Fantasic Beast.

Johnny is losing a lot of roles due to Amber Heard. Whether Johnny wins or loses this case his acting career will continue to be on a loose leash, Something Johnny does not deserve.

He has worked extremely hard to get to where he is now, only to have everything damaged by Amber’s falsehoods.

Although his admirers want Jonny to return as Captain Sparrow, nothing is more important to them than that these baseless charges do not damage his life. They will continue to support Depp even if Disney does not reinstate him.
