Brief: Men’s tennis shows Mounties no mercy

Australian tennis player Nathan Eshmade of Cerritos College helped guide the Falcons to a 7-2 victory over the Mount San Antonio College Mounties.

Eshmade blanked Marcelo Bautista of Mt. SAC, 6-0, 6-0 and helped to set the pace for the Falcons.

In singles action, Cerritos College fought to a 4-2 edge, while in doubles, it earned a clean 3-0 sweep.

Doubles play included the team of Todd Jenkins/Maurice Grijalva for Cerritos College, who defeated the duo of Kenny Simmons/Cameron Webber, 6-0, 6-1.
