A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for bettering our great nation.
I can’t say straight up that Romey has a detailed education reform plan, I can’t say Romney is putting all his efforts on education, but I can say that Romney is the better choice for president as a whole.
During the past four years with Barack Obama in office, the unemployment rate has gone up from 7.8 percent to 9.1 percent, the federal debt has gone up from $10.6 trillion to $14.7 trillion, the federal food stamp recipients has gone up from 32 million to 45 million and last but not least, the United States global competitiveness has gone from 1st to 5th place.
Electing Obama for another four year term will further deepen the debt hole that looms over this and future generations, and further erode at the powerhouse that this nation has become.
Obama is a liberal; he wants to carry the poor, the weak, and the unprepared. He throws tons of money at the problem and hopes it will improve.
The only way to help the ones who can’t help themselves is to create a stable environment, a stable economic status where they can work hard and become self-dependent to survive.
Have you ever heard of rugged individualism?
This is a old-timey doctrine that one will do anything and everything they can to help themselves, to sustain themselves and family, and to survive in this world.
In our current society, this doctrine has been toppled by the large, ever-reaching American government.
A government where the citizen gives their money to the central power who then distributes federal aid to the ones who can’t provide for themselves; that in its own is wrong.
If you work hard and do your best, you will provide for yourself and the ones you care about, and prosper.
That is the simple, unbiased truth that the natural world runs on.
If Obama is elected once again, our nation will become weaker and weaker. Sure, you may receive that federal financial aid that you need, but it comes at a cost.
The federal funds that would have gone to improve our dying economy and improve the long term health of our nation is going to students who can not provide for themselves.
There will be no jobs for all the college graduates in the current foreseen economy that will be if Obama is in office once again.
Romney, armed with Congressman Paul Ryan’s newly proposed budget plan, will cut the size of government, cut the federal programs that are creating debt and ultimately, revitalize our country.
Romney promotes an educational program where public, charter, and private schools raise their standards. A education system where only the qualified go on.
During his term as Governor in Massachusetts, Romney pushed an education program to raise standards, to increase parental participation and improve education of all students.
The state’s fourth and eighth grade students ranked first in the nation in both reading and math.
Massachusetts was the first state to achieve this goal and has remained the nation’s educational leader to this day.
Although this program worked in Massachusetts, it does not insure success in all states.
Romney promotes a system where each individual state can design a education system that works for them while following key points in the federal plan.
Obama plans on continuing his program to lower student loans and keep them low with federal subsides to the banks that supply them.
Romney plans on halting these programs and promoting his own legislation to aid college students.
One subject Romney and Obama can agree on is the much needed reform to the No Child Left Behind Act under former President George W. Bush.
It is perfectly clear to me, Obama is not fit to serve as president of our great nation and it is time for change; it is time for Mitt Romney.
