With the end of the season near, the Cerritos College softball team won its 10th straight game vs. Pasadena City College 8-3.
Freshman ace, Lily Cornejo tossed her 24th complete game allowing only three runs on seven hits to earn her 25th win.

Cornejo would get a much needed double play in the seventh inning on a ground ball to third base in which she would strikeout the final batter in the seventh to give herself her 25th win.
Head Coach Kodee Murray shared her thoughts on her pitching depth for the playoffs,
“Well, we have what we have, so it hasn’t been a problem all year and we’re in a pretty tough conference.”
Coach Mike Rodriguez shared his thoughts on Lily’s performance,
“Lily’s getting a little warned, but its a good thing she’s young and we keep her in shape.”
The Falcons are now 27-7 overall and 18-1 in conference play.
Cerritos will play its final home game vs. Long Beach City College on Thursday as the Falcons try to go for the series sweep.
