Good Morning Falcons!

There will be some give-and-take as Cerritos College prepares to tighten it’s financial belt for the summer semester. Though there will not be any courses cut, but a hike in tuition fees will make up for funding cuts due to the state’s struggling economy. Staff writer Juan Lopez reporting.
2.
This weeks Talon Mark’s ‘Campus News Hour’ music feature sets it’s sight on ‘Sunbaked’ the band. Sunbaked’s sound derives from several different musical directions, taking all these different cultures of sound and blends them into their own musical identity. Staff writer Luis Guzman reporting.
3.
Cerritos softball is enjoying it’s 21st win for this season and has its sights on a very accomplished end of season. The Falcons softball team members keep a optimistic yet cautious eye on the prize. Staff writer Wilmer Vargas reporting.
4.
The Talon Mark’s ‘Campus News Hour’ Arts department continues to bring our local artists to light with this weeks feature artist Andrew Pineta. Pineta’s life is full of crests and troughs that would render this skillful tattoo artist with a vision of an artistic future in his full control. Staff writer German Lara reporting.
5.
Family, friends and students came together for Susan G. Komen Foundation’s 12th Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at Cerritos College. With over 100 participants, Falcon Square showed it’s strength in numbers against this killer of loved ones. Sports Editor Lauren Gandara reporting.

Staff writer Alexandra Scovill gives this weeks Talon Mark’s ‘Campus News Hour’ Movie Review of dusted-off 80’s teen-cop drama ’21 Jump Street.’ Released as a comedy, ’21 Jump Street’ has some drag and leaves ‘Campus News Hour’ laughing last.
