Students around the Cerritos College campus remain clueless about the California budget crisis.
Students feel like this situation affects each of us in our every day life, but feel that it affects us students the most.
Part of the financial concern that students are experiencing is the need to pay for books, parking, tuition and classes.
Brandon Hendrickson who is a criminal justice major feels like it is already bad enough that students have to keep their grade point average up just to keep their financial aid.
“Now a day’s books cost as much as the classes, and that is too much,” he said.
He continued, saying, “The government is making everything hard for our students.”
Some students feel as if they can take something positive from the budget crisis. Undecided major, Ray Green commented, saying.
“It just goes to show you that you have to make the best out of everything no matter what the situation or case may be.”
“We are all human, and we have to adjust to this matter for the better, and not the worst.”
Some of our students feel like the government should make it easier for students who are trying to better their selves.
