Cerritos College is inviting applications for the Spring 2012 Intensive English Program, which is mainly aimed at international students in the U.S. with the requisite F-1 visa. This would be an eight-week program at a cost of $1900, which would include tuition, assessment testing, orientation, books and class material, field trips and a certificate of completion.
Those students who succeed in this course should be able to take further subjects leading to an Associate’s Degree at Cerritos College itself, or be able to transfer to a four-year university course, according to the information furnished by the International Student Center.
Students for this course are expected to come mostly from China, Indonesia, Vietnam, Korea and the South Pacific Islands, according to Danita Kurtz, International Student Center Coordinator.
