The ASCC recycling drive was deemed a success during the ASCC Cabinet meeting on Monday.
Commissioner of Student Outreach Joelle Lai said that the student turnout during the recycling drive on March 6-7 at Falcon Square was great because it was the first time that Cerritos held such an event. As to the estimated number of students who turned out it was unknown.
She added that there is a possibility of holding the event again sometime in April.
ASCC Vice President Jason Macias also agreed that the recycling drive was a success and other members of the ASCC were also present.
Those that were present during the recycling drive were:
? Commissioner of External Affairs Michael Barrita? Commissioner of Athletics Christopher Galvez? Former ASCC Vice President Alex Armendariz? ASCC President Joe Cobarrubio? Senator Yuri Martinez? Senator Perla Medina
During the recycling drive members of the ASCC went around the campus to each trash can and pulled out cans and bottles to recycle.
But overall the recycling drive was a success, Lai said.
