Cal works recipients are in need for work here on campus.
Cerritos will be offering anyone receiving cal works to apply for their temporary employment assignments.
They are looking for students to start now. From today until June 30, students will receive 100 percent of their wages. After that only 75 percent of your wages will be subsidized.
You must have been enrolled at least nine units both spring and fall semesters. You must have a 2.0 GPA, and can work at least 20 hours a week.
Because schools limited summer classes you will only be able to work up to 35 hours a week.
Teachers if you are interested in placing a cal works student in your department or office please contact Regina Ybanez at ext 2368.
If you would like to participate in the program please contact Norma Rodriguez at ext. 2358.
