A fire alarm went off in the Science building at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Monday.
There was no apparent fire or accident but the building was evacuated.
“Personally I think it’s a waste of time especially on the first day of school,” said Puente Club Vice President Rigo Arenas.
There were allegedly no officials present but professors and students decided to re-enter the building after the blaring quieted.
The buiding sustained no damage and there have been no injuries reported thus far.
