The Cerritos baseball team managed to keep its head up and look past the 5-2 loss to Santa Ana College on Saturday in Kincaid Field.
“I think we played good, we just didn’t get any big hits,” said head coach Jack Brooks after the game. “I wish we could’ve come up with a couple of big hits,” he added.
Santa Ana got the game stated in the first inning with an RBI by David Peterson, which scored Brett Tanos. In the second inning Santa Ana increased its lead with a home run by Talor Richardson over the right field wall.
