Cerritos College will be holding a scholarship workshop on August 31 from 2-3 p.m. in the business education building, BE 2, which will be open to the public at no cost.
People who attend the workshop can expect to learn about the different scholarships offered at Cerritos as well as tips on how to apply for them.
The presentation highlights the “dos and don’ts” of applying for a scholarship and how to write an effective essay, increasing chances at success.
Cerritos College’s Re-Entry Resource Program provides prospective Cerritos students who haven’t attended school recently with a chance for special scholarships.
