After posting a 23-6 record, the Cerritos College women’s basketball team earned a first round bye in the 2011 Southern California Regional Playoffs.
They finished 2ndplace in the South Coast Conference after posting a 13-6 record.
The women’s basketball team has won 12 of the last 14 games.
The Falcons were ranked no. 5 in the state, and were announced as the no. 4 seed.
They faced the no. 13 seed Riverside Community College in the second round of Southern California Regional Playoffs and played a close game but lost 68-66.
