As the ghost faced killer returns to the city of Woodsboro for the fourth installment of the classic thriller series Scream, it makes you wonder what today’s Hollywood producers and directors believe a thriller is anymore?

It’s been 10 years since “The Woodsboro Massacre”, and survivor Sidney Prescott(Neve Campbell) return to her old hometown on the last stop of her book tour.

Prescott is faced yet again with the oh so ever memorable phone calls, with the killer asking that one simple question “What’s your favorite scary movie?” , who is  still after her and now her cousin Jill(Emma Roberts) too.

From attractive young girls getting killed in their undergarments to a young police recruit trying to steal Officer Dewey(David Arquette) away from investigating reporter Gale Weathers-Riley(Courtney Cox), this movie leaves you wondering how you ever found the original movies so frightening in the first place.
