The Cerritos College Board of Trustees approved administration to begin working on a procedure for campus police to be armed with guns on campus on Wednesday.
President Linda Lacy said Chief of Police Richard Bukowiecki and Vice President of Student Services Stephen Johnson are working the draft procedures.
She said, “I can’t give a definitive date for completion. The procedures will be taken through the participatory governance process in the fall.”
