Anime Club had a scavenger hunt for their 14 members Thursday at 11 a.m. The winners of the scavenger hunt were Janee Slater, Karissa Mejia, and Johnell Hipol.
The club was divided into three groups, and had to answer one question in five stations, which were scattered around campus.
The first station was on the second floor of the Liberal Arts building; the second was in the Social Science building next to Frantone’s Pizza; the third was in front of the Cerritos College stadium; and the fourth was in Falcon square; the final station was at FA54.
Members of the club had to contribute money for the party which the winners will receive their money back and were treated to a pizza party at FA54
Frankie Molleda, a first time club member said, “It’s my first time joining the anime club and experiencing this kind of fun.”
The winners had a 40-second head start because they helped out with two bake sales for the club. “It was easy, Slater stated, “but tiring from all the running, the best part was I received my money back.”
Mejia said, “I liked it, I would like to do it again.”
The President of the Anime Club, Robert Migill, said, “The purpose for this experience, was to do something new, and to help the people make bonds with people they normally wouldn’t have.”
Hipol said, “It was fun, but my teammates were running around and were hard to handle.”
