The second movie in the Hunger Games series will not let you down.
Have you ever watched a movie after reading a book and realized that the director decided to add what he or she felt was necessary to make it better or worse?
Well, that wasn’t the case here.
Jennifer Lawrence did an amazing job playing her role as Katniss Everdeen, one of the two winners from the first Hunger Games movie.
What was great about the film was the cast. Actors from Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, Elizabeth Banks and Lenny Kravitz played their parts believable and brought the book to real life.
Another great thing about the movie were the outfits in the movie. Because the movie is based on years into the future, the costumes captured how fashion, throughout time, changes.
The one complaint about this film is the way that the director decided to end the movie on a cliff hanger.
It could be that the director wanted to leave everyone at the edge of their seats and wait impatiently for the next film to come out, but it shouldn’t have ended so abruptly!
“Catching Fire” is a little hard to follow if you haven’t seen the first movie or read any books in the series.
The movie proves that no matter what, women can also be as strong as men and Katniss played a strong female role model for young girls everywhere.
The film is really gory so anyone younger than the age of 12, or anyone who can’t handle films in which people get hurt, should try to stay away and maybe find another movie to watch because thats the big part of what the movie is.
