This new Spider-Man movie was glorious. It had action, suspense, romance and dark moments that would leave people emotional.
Things that were great about this movie were the fact that the humorous witty remarks and jokes done by spidey are back.
Early on in the movie it is clear that the Spider-Man from the comics was going to be presented.
Andrew Garfield did an amazing job embodying Spider-Man in this movie more so than that in the first movie.
Jamie Foxx, who played Electro, the main super-villain in the film, did a great job too. Electro looked awesome with his electrical blue body and the fight scene with Spider-Man was a thrill to watch.
This sequel also dove into the story of Peter Parker’s father, Richard Parker. They explained more of what Richard did at Oscorp and the research he conducted, and why he had to leave Peter with his aunt and uncle.
The love story between Peter and Gwen Stacey also flourished in this movie. Peter showed his ever lasting love to Gwen throughout the whole movie even through the ups and the downs.
Without ruining to much of the movie, Gwen and Peter eventually have to separate and it is a tear maker.
The Green Goblin makes an appearance and this new iteration is a creepy psychotic one.
All of these factors and more elevated “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” to be a great summer movie thriller for anyone to watch.
When it comes to the negative, there was not many. The only one that comes to mind is that Harry Osborn became evil to quick. There was no BFF stuff with him and Peter.
That was disappointing since Harry and Peter are supposed to be best friends. Overall “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” was a great movie one that comic book fans, Spider-Man fans and anyone who is a movie fan would love. “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” receives a four stars.
