The geology club at Cerritos implements a seven year plan to create a waste free campus in efforts to minimize plastic pollution and educate the population on the harm being brought onto individuals in the local community.
President Jose Fierro discusses the requirement of vaccination cards starting Nov. 1. The vaccine and mask mandate will remain effective throughout the spring 2022 semester. COVID-19 cases have decreased at Cerritos College and Dr. Fierro hopes to keep them down by implementing guidelines in accordance to CDC.

As the year progresses, there is a drastic decline in Cerritos College students' mental health.
A pre-health screening check-in site is established outside the Cerritos College library on August 9, 2021. They ensure that students have no symptoms of COVID-19 and did not come into contact with people who have the virus.
