Jazmin Lopez of the MTV Tr3s show, ReMexa, visited Cerritos College to interview students for a segment commemorating the 15th anniversary of singer, Selena Quintanilla-Perez’s, death.
Lopez said that the college’s large Latino/Hispanic population (the show’s target audience) was at the root of the decision to use Cerritos as a location for the segment.
Theatre major, Arianna Smith and Political Science major, Patricia Mata participated in a sing-off to Selena’s song, “Dreaming of you.”
