Isaiah: Hello everyone, my name is Isaiah Lonvelin. I am the Co sports editor for Talon Marks and today I am going to talk about my World Series prediction.

Isaiah: This World Series is going to go down to game seven and is going to be a nail-biter till the very end. Both teams played well during the division and championship series to be one step closer to the Commissioner’s trophy.

Isaiah: The Astros are a strong team that has pretty much everything to win a World Series. They have the pitching that can dominate a lineup with their starters and bullpen. Their hitters have been feasting at the plate, and could very well be scary against opposing pitchers. They have players like Yordan Alvrez and Alex Bregman who can change the game with one swing. Even though they are a part of a cheating scandal they are a team looking to prove people wrong. They have one thing on their mind and that is to win. Look for Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa to lead this team to another World Series win.

Isaiah: Then we have the Atlanta Braves who are the favorites going into the World Series, and have the momentum to take down the Astros. This lineup the Braves have is good and smart to go against the Astors pitching staff. Even though this team was hit with multiple injuries, they are still a team that can beat you in different ways whether it be with their defense, hitting, or pitching. They have a dangerous line up without their star players Ronald Acuña and Marcell Ozuna. But have players like Freddie Freeman, Dansby Swanson, and Ozzie Albies to be fierce hitters. Along with new additions like Chicago Cubs Joc Pederson and new outfielder Eddie Rosario.

Isaiah: Then also look for their pitching staff to be lights out again like they were against the Brewers and Dodgers.

Isaiah: So for my take I have to go with the underdogs and choose that the Atlanta Braves will be the 2021 World Series champions in seven games for the first time since the dynasty team of the 90s.
