So, Kelly Clarkson will not let the show that made her famous use any of her songs that propelled her to stardom.
As “American Idol” has begun its fifth season on FOX the former contestant stirs up controversy.
Who does she think she is anyway, Britney Spears?
She should thank “Idol” for making her famous, and not only that, but she’s forgotten where she came from.
The “Since U Been Gone” singer was born in Texas and before her “Idol” fame she was working as a waitress to make ends meet.
Now that she has made millions of dollars off the two albums she has released, she goes out of her way to say that the show that made her a household name has no right to use her songs?
Oh, please! She has no idea what she’s in for.
Fans of “American Idol,” have you seen what has happened to Michael Jackson?
Jackson was once one of the most famous singers in the 1980s and he had loads of money until he spent it all on luxurious gifts and on legal matters..
Fame and money is a powerful thing and it looks to me that Clarkson is heading in that direction.
Look at what she’s done lately:
Clarkson fired her manager and “American Idol” creator Simon Fuller and she turned to Max Martin, who managed Spears, instead for the song, “Since U Been Gone” and now this!
Please! She has obvious let her head get too big for her body.
“Idol” judge Simon Cowell was right when he said, “No matter how talented Kelly Clarkson is, she would not be in the position she’s in now without winning the show.”
“It’s the public who bothered to pick up the phone,” he continued, “and vote for her.”
In other words, Cowell said it has been as if Clarkson was slapping those who voted for her in the face.
Fans keep tuning in for all the excitement, drama and disappointments, yet it’s sad that those who appear on “American Idol” don’t appreciate what they have.
Clarkson is the first to admit she is trying to distance herself from the show.
In my opinion, I don’t think that she will be able to because no matter where she goes, no matter who she meets she will always have the label of “American Idol” first winner.
With more than 20-25 million people watching “American Idol” it turns out that the only thing that the show accomplished for Clarkson was to help her forget about the fans that made her, but memory loss is a two-way street..
Don’t be surprised if you one day fans will say, “Kelly who?”
