At 10:40 a.m. Wednesday an anonymous phone call alerted Cerritos College campus police of a bomb scare in the Social Science Building.
The SS Building will reopen at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Cerritos College students expressed concern about this.
“I think that the Campus Police should explain why this happened, ” Moung Han, architecture major, said, “but I am excited that classes are cancelled.”
Stephen VanFossen, computer graphics major, said, “If this is a prank or if it is real the person or persons who did this is an idiot.”
Manuel Hernandez, business major, agreed.
“This (the bomb scare) is messed up.”
He too, emphasized that he thinks that the Campus Police should have someone explain what happened.
Lt. Richard Bukowecki denied comment pending further investigation.
