Candace Gingrich was the guest of honor at the Gay Straight Alliance meeting Tuesday morning encouraging to vote no on Props 4 and 8.

Human rights campaign activist Gingrich tried to heavily emphasize the importance of the youth vote in the upcoming elections.

“The under-30 vote could easily single-handedly dictate the outcome of this election and I’m not saying this lightly,” she exclaimed.

Gingrich strongly suggested that if the government truly and honestly cared about teen safety, it would not try to put teens at risk by forcing young women into dangerous conversations.

“It is irresponsible to deprive women their ability to decide the fate of their body,” she claimed.
“I’m trying to strongly inform and encourage students to go out and vote because their vote will definitely be held accountable for future of this country.”

When it comes to Prop. 8, Gingrich looks down upon those who provide lies in order to manipulate voters.

She noted, “They talk about family values and morals, yet they know nothing of them.

“If marrying the person you love, caring for, and protecting is not family values and nurturing, then I don’t know what is.”
