The ASCC has purchased $6,000 worth of steel for school construction.
Steel usually costs around $1.50 per pound, making the order for 4,000 pounds.
The steel is being used as a reinforcment for the rebar of the school and going toward school saftey.
Without the steel rebars, the concrete floors will surely collpase.
“I believe if its for school construction, its for a good cause.” said Kevin Martinez, Commissioner of FIne Arts.
The origin of the money is unknown to some of the cabinet members.
Some say it’s from the ASCC Trust Fund, which is paid for by the students, but that is an unsure fact.
Michael Barrita, president of ASCC said, “I’m not sure of were the money came from, but any money used for our campus is put to good use.”
In other business, the cabinet went through all the propositions and the pros and cons of both outcomes of the elections.
