In a game dominated by offense the Cerritos College football team lost to Palomar College, 37-32, Saturday night, in the Golden Empire Bowl held at Bakersfield College.
“Both teams could not stop each other’s offense,” head coach Frank Mazzotta said. “I thought whoever had the ball last would win.”
The season is now over for the Falcons. They finished 7-4 and the Golden Empire Bowl was thier first bowl game since 2003.
“Even though we lost this game we still say we’re back,” Mazzotta said.
