As of March 12, the Liberal Arts Resolution has been passed.
Wendell Hanks is heading a campaign to bring the campus of Cerritos College back to life.
Hanks said that the school is depreciating and that our campus needs physical help.
As one walks around the campus, he may see graffiti on walls, bathrooms that are out of order, or tables that he may not find suitable to eat at.
These are the issues that Hanks is trying to help be brought to everyone’s attention.
“It is of paramount importance that the Cerritos president take responsibility for the campus,” Hanks added, “the campus is a reflection of the student’s and faculties worth.”
Bill Farmer, acting president and superintendent of Cerritos College, took a tour of the campus to see the shape that it was in.
Farmer was very positive about the need for change around Cerritos campus, and since then changes have started to be made according to Hanks.
One change that was made to get the ball rolling was new partitions in some of the restrooms to replace the old graffiti-covered ones.
