Cerritos College is offering $500 iFALCON scholarships to two or three students who have excelled academically.
Applications for the scholarship are made available at the Student Activities Office and the deadline for the submission of the application is next Tuesday.
The iFALCON scholarship recognizes outstanding students who have used some of the habits of mind to exceed in their academic and personal life
“It obviously promotes the iFALCON campaign and it’s a good way to honor students who work hard,” Rachel Samarin, scholarship relation specialist, said.
Samarin also added that it’s a great idea to get students involved.
Although all students are encouraged to apply, there is a certain criteria that has to be met prior to submission.
The criteria is:
- Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Must have at least 12 units completed
- Must be enrolled in at least 12 units
- Provide a current transcript
In 500 words or less, write a autobiographical statement answering the question, “How has Cerritos College impacted your life and helped you obtain your academic goals.”
