The Talon Marks newspaper and individual staff members took home a total of ten awards at Saturday’s Journalism Association of Community Colleges’ Southern California Conference.
“I’m really pleased we won across the spectrum. We won in design, print, online, photography, and writing. It shows good balance,” said professor Rich Cameron, adviser for Talon Marks.
The haul included two first place awards, one third place, two fourth place, four honorable mentions, and a general excellency award for the the paper’s Web site.
