If MLA formats are giving you a hard time and that essay is due soon ask your professor to schedule an Orientation in the library, to help you find all the resources you need.
Rather than depend on Wikipedia or Google, the library holds all the resource books to bring out the best of your topic.
Statistically, last fall, 90 classes were scheduled meaning 2,850 students with the help of librarians like Lorraine Gersitz received a library overview.
As said by Gersitz the coordinator of this program “We offer better resources for your research paper as well as workshops”.
This one hour orientation will help students be able to easily go to the library and know exactly where to find that research book, and if not how to simply find a book using the online book catalog.
In this orientation, they will also help students find dependable internet resources; teach you research strategies and techniques, and help you with citation formats.
If students have a “smart class” with internet access even better, they can go in and give your class a customized tutorial on the essentials students need to know to get things done at their school library efficiently.
