An unidentified man was taken into custody after creating a disturbance in the men’s restroom at the Fine Arts building around noon Wednesday afternoon.
Students reported the man murmuring threats, yelling to himself at the mirror, making loud animal noises and spilling water on the floor of the men’s restroom, then making his way into the dance studio.
Police discovered a 3-inch folding knife on his person and immediately took him into custody.
A further search produced blood in the man’s jacket pocket, but no injury was immediately discovered.
The man claimed to be a student at Cerritos College, but no student I.D. was produced.
