The Cerritos swim team hosted the Chaffey Invitational, a two day meet, which Riverside college won, in both the mens’ and womens’ competiton.
“I need to work on my endurance and cardio more,” swimmer Louie Espinoza said. “I’m not happy with my performance, I think I can still shed a couple of seconds off of my times.”
Though he was not pleased with his times, Espinoza managed to help the team place third in the men’s 200 yard medely relay, place, himself, third in the 10 yard butterfly, second in the 200 yard breaststroke, and first in the 100 yard breaststroke.
