If you ask students around Cerritos College what their major is, chance is you will more than likely get one student that is undecided or undeclared.
A large number of students are enrolled in general education classes, to meet the requirements for CSUs and UCs but they don’t know or are not sure what major they want to commit to.
The Career Services Center and Re-Entry Resources Program are holding a Undecided/ Undeclared workshop to provide students assistance on choosing a major that will suit them.
The workshop will allow students to review the majors offered at Cerritos College and see what careers fall under specific majors. There are majors which are more flexible than others and allow for
Elizabeth Kierda, an undecided major says “This is a good idea, it will help us decide what major we want to pursue. If we have somebody help us, it might be easier for students to succeed in that major.”
