Avenging their only conference loss of the season, the Cerritos softball team beat LA Harbor 9-1 last Tuesday, scoring 5 of those runs in the first inning.
First baseman Ashley Ventura says her team is confident in the season and can’t wait to get to the state championships. She scored a two-run home run in the fourth inning, which makes 5 on the season.
With the best record, and only 2 games left to play, in the conference the Cerritos softball team is a shoe in for the conference championship.
