The Cerritos College women’s soccer team head coach, Ruben Gonzalez, has been accused of having an innapropriate relationship with female student at a school he previously coached, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Gonzalez, who is also a teacher and soccer coach at Bishop Amat High School, was suspended by the school once the LAPD confirmed the investigation on Wednesday.
He has been coaching at Cerritos since 2007. He led the Falcons to back-to-back state titles in 2008 and 2009.
