Cerritos Cross Country team had a hard week of training before their preview meet on saturday.
Coach Goldman believes their week of training lead them to lack performance on Saturday. “Although this meet is really just a preview of what Southern California Championship will be like, we all did pretty good” said Goldman.
With Alexandria Torres finishing two spots above her last meet’s placing.
The Conference Championships are in three weeks coach says their goal right now is to work on their packing and close gaps between each runner to add to the total points.
Woman finished in ninth place while the Men followed in 12th place.
The men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Mission Bay Park in San Diego for the Southern California preview meet and both placed in the top 15.
The men’s team placed 12th and the women’s team placed in ninth place.
