The 3rd Shift hip hop and art show which is going start Mar, 12th at 9 p.m in the House Lounge on Maywood and will be having some of Los Angeles under ground hip hop dj performing that day and artist showing their art work with a section for attendees to do art if they please.

One of the people that worked to set up the 3rd shift and will be attending the show to help is a Cerritos College student Galileo Gonzalez majoring in Computer Animation.

He explained that it will be the first time the 3rd shift will be located in Maywood and Gonzalez is also actually happy that for the first time it will have art work at the show.

Gonzalez also said’ Jeff and I will be arriving with me and my girlfriend and Sergio that are also student to help” but added that it took them a couple of month to set up for that show.

Another person that will also be at the 3rd shift and was actually in charge of the show is Jeph Ortega majoring as Dental Assistance he explained that 3rd shift is actually a hip hop and art show and he was giving the authority to manage the artist and hiring the dj.

Ortega also explained that he will be one of the dj that day performing and also said about that day” am just very excited I been mass producing, and it will be a good show.”

And also explained that the whole planning of the show began on November with explaining the theme which is going to be about the ending of under ground hip hop.

Ortega also added” we will be doing the first month that it will be having hip hop and art gallery so we will be popping his cherry.”

He also explained that it wont be the first time third shift has accrued but the second time and added that he been doing shows and promote ting for a year.

Ortega also explained that the 3rd shift was suppose to be for the 21 and over crowd but added that the door will be open for the crowd to check out.

He also said “their will be live music dj art and if you want to go just tell me I get you in for free and its going to be at the house lounge 3626 fruitland.”

Ortega also explained that the show will have ten artist with guest dj and live painting in the House Lounge patio.

With much excitement and enthusiasm he explained that hopefully it will be successful so they could have more shows like that for Cerritos student and the public to check out.
