The Cerritos College softball team (10-5, 5-0) will be traveling away to play its cross-town rival Long Beach City College (10-4-1,3-2) in a South Conference game on Thursday.
Last season when these two teams met, the Falcons held a 6-0 lead until the seventh inning when the Vikings scored four runs and ended the game with the score of 6-4.
The Falcons started with an inconsistent season but have been in a winning streak with six wins in a row.
