There was a packed house in the Teleconference Center to see anti-war activist Mike Prysner, who said on March 9 that he experienced a profound political transformation while serving in the U.S. Army during the invasion of Iraq.
Prysner’s appearance came courtesy of the Global Consortium for World Peace, which seeks to bring awareness to global issues to college students. The program is spearheaded by GCFP Director John Haas, a Cerritos College history professor.
After Prysner spoke about his own experiences and views, the presentation shifted to an open forum format, allowing students to ask Prysner questions.
