The student government elections committee held an orientation for students running for student government positions on March 22.
Two students, Areal Hughes, dance major, and Julian Del Real-Calleros, English major, both of whom are running this semester for student government positions shared what happened at the orientation and how social networking use was encouraged in campaigning.
Packets were passed out that covered the rules of running for a student government position.
