Cerritos College students who received financial aid during the fall semester will receive the second disbursement of their financial aid
on Oct. 28.
Beginning in the summer of 2011, Cerritos College’s financial aid department decided to distribute the money to students in two halves for each semester.
Stated in a previous in a Talon Marks’ article titled “Students affected by Pell Grant split”, Media relations for Higher One Shoba Lemoine said that Higher One is not affect by the change that has been made for getting Pell Grants.
Higher One is the entity responsible for the students receiving Pell Grants that are awarded onto a credit card.
