According to Chief of Campus Police Richard Bukowicki, the helicopters that were flying around on campus on Thursday of the ‘Romeo and Juliet’ performance at the Burnight Center Theatre had nothing to with the safety alert lookout for Steve Miller.
“We don’t have any helicopters, ” he said.
According to Bukowicki, the increased security was spotted outside the theatre, as police and security stayed outside and are expected to be around the entire campus for every performance of the play.
“He was released on his own recognizance by the sheriffs department,” he said.
Miller is set to have a court appearance on May 21st .
