Cerritos College police officers arrested an individual wanted for warrants at the college library on Monday, Nov. 26.
“An individual, who had no legitimate business inside the library, was arrested,” Cerrritos College Police Chief Richard Bukowiecki said.
A 25 year-old was discovered inside the school library during a routine patrol by campus police campus police officers at 10:15 p.m.
After questioning the individual, the campus police officers discovered that the individual had warrants out for his arrest.
The campus police officers detained the individual.
The Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department was alerted of the arrest by the Cerritos College Campus Police Department.
Cerritos College Campus Police Officers turned over the individual to the custody of the Los Angeles County sheriff deputies.
