Teachers should be obligated to update their personal website even though they are out of campus and off office hours.
Teachers expect students to turn in assignments on time, but sometimes TalonNet doesn’t always work properly.
Therefore, teachers should be more aware about what students face at home.
Teachers have office hours, but not always do they accommodate students.
Responding to e-mails or any questions that might be raised either on a homework assignment or any other project is essential to student success.
Not only will you be able to complete your assignment, but also seeing a teacher is actually concerned about your struggles, can be very motivating and rewarding.
On the other hand, if teachers are never up to date with their websites and never respond, a student could face lack of interest, and eventually involvement.
Not only is a teachers’ duty to give a lessons and assign homework, but actually to cooperate with students to become better.
Assignments are due, but some teachers wait until the end of the semester to upgrade your grade. Wouldn’t it be nice to know where you stand in class as far as your grade?
Whether you’re doing good or bad, to have a reference it is always better.
Deadlines don’t wait, why should students? It is an obligation that comes within a teacher’s job, and to do any less should be unacceptable.
Students also have other things to do outside campus, families, jobs etc. And all those responsibilities don’t hold us back from completing our assignments; therefore teachers should do the same.
If a teacher is not willing to respond to students, the least thing they can do is to keep the website updated all the time. From when and how assignments are due, to all the assignments and tests turned in with a grade.
It is stressful for us to not be able to turn to any help due to the lack of information provided by an instructor online.
We pay for our classes; we want our money’s worth.
We‘d like teachers to be more involved in what us as students deal with, it’d be nice to know we can rely on a website to figure out deadlines, what chapter we are on and of course the grade we earned.
