Paying for parking can be a good thing
Paying that $40 helps Cerritos College get the resources that allow your car to be safe in the parking lot. It also allows for only the students attending the college to use the parking lot, so outsiders won’t take the parking spot that you might need. Big brother’s watching
The Glendale Unified School District hired a third party to monitor students social medias to maintain safety outside of school. This fits right under our rights of The First Amendment and should not be thought of as a new way to watch over students especially if it moves up the educational ladder to colleges. The one time you let the emotions get the best of you and post a misunderstood message can change the rest of your life if school were to get the wrong idea about it.

It’s time to move on from racial slurs
Racial slurs are everywhere in the media but have no place in college and in public in general. These words can open up old wounds and it is best if everyone moves on without them.

No American military action in Syria
With the news of possible military action against Syria the United States must find a way to stay out of this conflict. If anything getting involved would only make matters worse for the situation. The military. does not have the funds to carry out the attack unless congress decides to give the pentagon the extra funds. The powers in that area such as Israel or Jordan should handle the situation with some US aid if matters escalate further.
