Far too often, we hear, “well he’s a Gemini that’s just how Gemini’s are” and that type of talk is dangerous to a person’s mental and sometimes physical health.
A lot of us are guilty of looking to the zodiac when we want more answers about the person we are just getting to know or trying to date, however, if someone is feeling the need to constantly turn to a person’s zodiac to get to know them this, maybe the beginning to an even deeper problem.
The truth is if they really wanted to let someone in, they would and the fact that they’re keeping their feelings or behavior with their love interest recondite means that they just aren’t that interested in letting that person in their life.
Zodiac signs are definitely something fun to pay attention to and do let a person in on a little bit about the person they are dating but it is not something that can completely define who a person is or why they are treating someone a certain way.
“Mercury is in retrograde, that must be why he’s acting this way.” No, he’s just an ass and the quicker we accept this the sooner we can move on and find someone who will still respect us in and out of Mercury’s retrograde.
Using zodiac signs for things such as compatibility can be something that is fun and will help a curious couple to understand certain things about how their personalities mesh with one another.
Compatibility should be limited to just that, compatibility. It will not define the entire relationship with a person it just tells someone on some scale how they will relate with that person.
It should not doom the relationship because their zodiac isn’t compatible. It simply means that each individual will have to work a little harder in that relationship to communicate with that person and understand and respect each other’s differences.
Understanding that sometimes Aquarius’ are bad at communication and Virgo’s love to communicate could help a person to understand their partner’s a little more but that doesn’t mean that it will ring true for every Virgo and every Aquarius.
We are all just a product of our environment, and sometimes things happen to us that shift our world views and how we communicate with others.
The next time someone thinks that their significant other is ignoring them because they’re a certain zodiac sign and that sign gets moody sometimes think back to this and remember that if someone is going to love you, they will love you through bad times and good.
Their zodiac sign does not define their existence and definitely does not excuse their behavior. Understanding that zodiac signs do not define the relationship is an important part of playing the game.
