The Cerritos College softball team won its last regular season game, 17-0, against Pasadena City College, ending the season as Southern California Conference Champions.

Murray said, “Most of our team is freshmen and after this game, the freshmen have a full season under their belts.
“To us, this is the beginning of a second season and we will go out here and execute like we did all season long. They are no longer freshmen.”
On Friday, there will be a meeting held to decide the seeding for regionals. Since the season hasn’t ended for all teams. Murray is not sure where Cerritos will be seeded, but knows that Cerritos will be either No. 1 or No. 2.
Since Cerritos will be seeded either No. 1 or No. 2, it will host the No. 15 or No. 16 seed.
